The Library Project
The second floor of the Pascagoula Library is in dire need of painting. Because there was no flooding on level two during Hurricane Katrina, this area was not covered by disaster relief. However for months following the story, the library had no air conditioning unit so the second floor soaked up moisture from the water that flooded the first floor. That moisture ruined the 20 year-old carpeting and painting. Currently we are getting cost estimates for this task.
